Peter
Wollweber

Peter is a Graduate Trainee in our UK politics and policy practice. Prior to joining Global Counsel, Peter previously worked in the public affairs team at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, screening political risk for upcoming deals and working on longer-form projects on the political future of technology and infrastructure investment in the EU. Prior to this he interned with a campaign consultancy firm and an economic policy think tank, and holds an MA in History from the University of St Andrews.
At GC, he monitors and provides analysis on political and regulatory changes in UK politics and their impact on clients across a variety of sectors.
Recent examples of his work include:
- Supporting clients in engaging with Commons Select Committees on the Online Safety Bill.
- Feeding into senior client preparations for the Global Investment Summit.
- Assessing and monitoring topical political events including the UK Spending Review and Hydrogen Strategy.
