Yasemin is a Senior Associate in Global Counsel’s trade and manufacturing policy practice. She previously worked for Turkey’s Ministry of Trade for over a decade covering international trade and EU affairs where she specialised in regulatory issues and FTAs.
At GC, she advises clients on how to resolve trade barriers and regulatory issues, and to navigate evolving trade policies and topics in the EU, the UK and globally.
Recent examples of her work include:
- Providing regular analysis to clients – particularly in the life sciences sector – on UK and EU trade policy developments and trade deals.
- Designing advocacy strategies for clients for the UK’s upcoming free trade agreement negotiations.
- Supporting clients for developing strategic regulatory plans to improve cross-border market access capacity.
