Cam advises clients on policy and regulatory changes in the UK, as well as the political context driving policymaking.
Cam is an Associate in Global Counsel’s UK politics and policy practice. Before joining GC, Cam spent several years in a public affairs consultancy specialising in energy and net zero. He worked with trade associations, financial institutions and energy project developments to deliver effective political engagement and stay ahead of policy and regulatory changes.
Cam holds an MA in Economics and Politics from the University of Edinburgh, where he conducted a research project into international climate agreements, focused on COP26 in Glasgow.

Recent examples of his work include:
- Producing an economic and social impact assessment for a major UK consumer brand, in support of the brand’s political messaging.
- Organising an industry roundtable on the potential policy options for the Labour government’s Warm Homes Plan.
- Developing stakeholder mapping and a political engagement strategy around the UK government’s proposed Football Governance Bill.
