Conor supports financial services clients with their understanding of policy issues including monitoring, research reports, and analysis on regulatory developments.

Conor is an Associate in the Financial services team at Global Counsel. Prior to joining Global Counsel, Conor worked as a financial management consultant for KPMG, gained experience at a public affairs agency during an internship with APCO, and conducted detailed research into UK Strategic Defence Reviews with the Kings College London Centre for Grand Strategy.

At Global Counsel, Conor supports financial services clients with assessing political and policy risk on commercial strategies, with a particular focus on geopolitical developments shaping global markets and regulatory frameworks. He conducts research on a wide range of topics, from capital markets regulation to broader trends shaping the financial services sector.

Recent examples of his work include:

  • Providing in-depth political and financial services regulatory monitoring and research reports to a number of clients.
  • Supporting clients in assessing the implications of regulatory changes on their business models, including capital markets and banking regulation.
  • Conducting analysis at the intersection of financial services and emerging geopolitical issues, including defence and security.
