Ed provides analysis and insight to corporate and investor clients on political and regulatory changes in the UK.

Ed is an Associate at Global Counsel in the UK Policy and Politics team. Before joining GC, Ed worked for three years as an advisor to a senior MP. He also has experience in the NHS and at the Hudson Institute, a think tank in Washington, DC. Ed holds an undergraduate degree in Philosophy and an MA in Political Theory from LSE.

At Global Counsel he supports clients across a range of policy areas, including the semiconductors, aviation, and housing sectors.

Previous examples of his work include:

  • Monitoring policy and political developments across the semiconductor and aviation sectors.
  • Producing detailed briefings and engagement strategies covering key stakeholders and politicians.
  • Working on a campaign for a major logistics company.
  • Drafting op-eds for industry journals, including on targeting support for the semiconductor industry through the Industrial Strategy.
