Hemant is a senior adviser supporting GC clients working across energy, climate and sustainability. He has experience creating markets while leading revenue streams in the renewable energy and energy transition sectors, with a focus on creating bankable pipelines across Asia and North America. Hemant’s specialisms span energy generation (solar, wind, hydro, biomass), transition (batteries, green hydrogen, off grid solutions), transmission, and distribution sectors, having successfully created portfolios of more than $10B. He has more than twenty-five years’ experience in the private sector and international institutions, having worked for the IFC/ World Bank Group, Shell Wind, GE, one of the largest single-family office’s globally, independent power producers and run his own companies at the operational and C-suite levels.
 
Currently based in Singapore, Hemant has also spent a significant amount of time in India, China, the US and Vietnam. He is an engineer by training and has an MBA from the Ross School of Business at The University of Michigan.
