Li
Jiayu works with GC’s clients to analyse macroeconomic policy developments, specialising in the China market.
She has five years of experience working as a research analyst in the commodity and shipping industry, specialising in the China market. She previously worked as an in-house analyst, advising traders and the company board on on-the-ground market development in the industry and regulatory impact on short-term trading strategies. Her in-depth longer-term analysis on the China real estate market facilitated the company’s sales and purchase decisions. Jiayu holds an MSc in International Political Economy from S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies and a double degree in Environmental Engineering and Economics from Nanyang Technological University.
