 Gradinaru

Ana is a Director and leads the Technology Media and Telecom practice in Brussels for Global Counsel. Ana has previous experience in the tech corporate world working on policy and reputation aspects for companies like Telefonica and Meta in Brussels. She has also spent time working for the European Commission as part of Dutch Commissioner Neelie Kroes’ team and working within DG CNECT on roaming, net neutrality issues, and cost reduction of broadband rollout. 

She also has previous experience in the consultancy world advising EU Institutions and companies on tech related issues while working with Deloitte and Edelman.

At GC, Ana advises global technology companies on emerging EU policies on platform regulation, AI, online safety, and on augmented and virtual reality. 

Previous examples of her work include:

• Advising companies across multiple aspects of EU policy and legislation on platform and content regulation.  
• Provide expert advice to a leading AI company on EU policy and political development, as well as engagement strategies with relevant policy stakeholders. 
• Advising a leading consumer goods company in developing industry standards to protect vulnerable users online.
