Valerie is an Associate at Global Counsel. Prior to joining GC, Valerie worked in health public affairs in Brussels, leading projects with international pharmaceutical clients to support them in understanding policy developments and engaging with stakeholders at a European and national level. Before this, she was a Trainee at the European Parliament, coordinating and assisting in the health and environment committee's ongoing legislative work. Valerie holds an MSc in international health policy and a BSc in biochemistry with management. 

Recent examples of her work include: 

• Working with a major pharmaceutical company to analyse the impact of existing and upcoming policy on their pipeline.
• Briefing a large multi-national medical device company on how the UK general election, and its potential outcomes, may impact their business. 
• Gathering insights and providing analysis to help various clients anticipate regulatory, policy and political developments in the EU and UKs health and life sciences sector.
