Michelle is a Senior Associate leading GC’s US TMT offer and is based in New York and Washington, DC. Prior to GC, Michelle was a Director working primarily with private equity investors and other large alternative asset managers at a Washington, DC-based regulatory due diligence & policy analysis firm. She played a key role in launching and managing each of the firm’s private equity advisory practices across the financial services, energy & infrastructure, healthcare & pharmaceuticals, and TMT spaces in the US and Europe. 

Most recently, Michelle was a Senior Director at global policy intelligence technology company FiscalNote, where she led on Capital Markets and focused on go-to-market strategy for two subsidiaries, a carbon accounting and ESG reporting software platform, and an investor-focused, AI-driven policy prediction tool.

At Global Counsel, Michelle focuses on the rapidly growing array of issues facing US-based Technology, Media, and Telecom companies with cross-border exposure or global expansion plans, as well as US investors seeking to deploy capital in Europe, APAC, and MENA.
