Dr. Santitarn Sathirathai joins as a Senior Adviser

Global Counsel, a leading global strategic advisory firm, is excited to announce the expansion of its adviser network in Asia with the addition of Dr. Santitarn Sathirathai as a Senior Adviser.

Dr. Sathirathai is an expert on the intersection of the digital economy, macroeconomics and public policy. An economist by training, he previously served as Group Chief Economist and a member of the senior management team at Sea Ltd, the largest technology company in Southeast Asia. Prior to Sea, he was the Head of Emerging Asia Economics Research at Credit Suisse, where he received several awards including being named best economic forecaster by Consensus Economics. He has published two books on the future economy, both of which became best-sellers in Thailand.

This expansion is part of Global Counsel's sustained initiative to invest in key markets across the region. Together with GC's team of consultants based in Singapore, the adviser network will bolster GC's regional coverage and provide consulting services to clients so they can seize growth opportunities in cross-border trade and investment between Asia and the rest of the world.
Andrew Yeo, Asia Director and Head of the Singapore office, said, "I am excited to have Santi join our team. The Southeast Asia region continues to attract significant foreign investment and the team and I are very excited to be able to count on his extensive experience across technology and digital trade as we translate what these policy dynamics mean for global investors.”
