Navigating Southeast Asia’s regulatory landscape

We supported a global digital entertainment developer and publisher to understand political and regulatory developments in Southeast Asia, including recent developments in Indonesia around digital platforms and data protection. We advised the client on the impact of local regulations, including the early flagging and subsequent risk analysis of a new rule which required foreign digital platforms to be registered which eventually led to bans on some foreign firms from operating in the market.
