At Global Counsel Alex supports investors in anticipating regulatory and spending interventions across Europe, with a particular focus on infrastructure, and advises international firms on effective engagement with policymakers and other stakeholders.

Alex is an Associate Director at Global Counsel bringing over a decade of experience working in and with the EU institutions on energy and economic policy.  His most recent experience was at the European Commission’s DG ECFIN (Economic and Financial Affairs), where he coordinated energy reforms and investments in Greece and the wider climate elements of the €672bn Recovery and Resilience Facility across member states. Alex previously represented the refining industry at Fuels Europe on market reforms and regulation.
